Experts in remedial and deep tissue massage

We specialise in massage for sports injury, trigger point pain, myofascial release, relaxation and pregnancy massage.

Massage therapy is different

Our treatments are very different to a spa or beauty massage. We will assess you clinically and work with you to help you relax, resolve any pain, restore movement and release tight muscles and improve their condition, all for the long term.

From a single appointment, to a series of massage therapy sessions tailor-made for a specific condition, we use many different massage techniques to create bespoke treatments for your individual needs.

Clinical treatment with a highly qualified, experienced therapist

Our massage therapists are all very highly qualified and have many years of clinical experience between them, helping people of all ages and lifestyles, from those who just want a relaxing massage, to people with desk-based jobs, prone to neck and shoulder pain, all the way through to professional athletes and dancers who need regular sports massage as part of their training programmes.

We’re on Vinery Road, just off Mill Road in CB1. We’re within walking distance of Cambridge mainline train station, we’re also on the number 2 bus route which stops at the end of our street. If you’re cycling, we’re about 10 minutes from the city centre and if you’re driving, there’s unrestricted parking on Vinery Road and normally plenty of spaces to park directly outside our clinic.

We’re passionate about what we do

Few things are as rewarding as hearing our clients say how much of a difference having a massage at our clinic has made to their everyday lives.

We put our clients at the center of everything we do and the success of our clinic is based entirely on outcome. Most of our work is actually through referral or word of mouth and we work hard to give everyone the very best treatment we can.

Questions we are frequently asked...

Before starting your treatment, you will be asked to complete a short form to screen for any relevant health issues.

Your therapist will ask you some general questions to establish what you would like to achieve or work on.

If you have a specific condition or pain problem, your therapist may also perform some physical tests to evaluate your condition beforehand.

You may be asked to remove items of clothing necessary for the area of your body being treated.

For a full body massage, most people opt to undress completely except for their underwear.

Your therapist will leave the room to give you the privacy to undress and get comfortable under towels on the table.

Some types of massage involve deeper techniques that may feel tender during or after treatment.

That said, it should not be painful so it’s really important that you talk to your therapist during your massage to feedback about the pressure being used and how it feels.

This varies depending on your reason for wanting a massage. Your therapist will discuss this with you and make a recommendation at your initial appointment.

If you have a specific pain condition, then a course of 3-4 treatments weekly may be recommended initially before tapering to a maintenance schedule.
